Our experienced aestheticians offer a wide range of solutions to treat all skin types and problems, including acne, acne scarring, sun damage, age spots and fine line wrinkles. The goal of our skin care clinic is to help our patients re-gain and maintain the natural health, glow and texture of their skin. Our exfoliating treatments are designed to renew and rejuvenate the skin cells, with a goal of clear and youthful skin.

Our aestheticians have varied skin treatments and will tailor a program to your personal goals and needs. Whether your skin is environmentally damaged, discolored, acne prone, hypersensitive, a special program can be designed to improve your skin appearance. Our patients with conditions like acne or rosacea (redness across the cheeks and nose) have commented that the treatments unclogged their pores, improving their skin tone and texture.

We offer Neocutis skin care products with PSP® the most complete and balanced combination of human growth factors and cytokines available.

Our Aestheticians have gone through extensive training, including advanced certification from Biomedic®. The goal of the Biomedic® clinical skin care program is to eliminate a micro-thin top layer of skin, revealing better skin clarity, tone and texture. The Biomedic® Micropeel and Micropeel Plus yield quicker and more dramatic results than a facial because they are more aggressive in addressing skin problems. Many of our patients with acne-prone and discoloration are thrilled that these treatments generally have no downtime and oftentimes, they no longer need cosmetic foundation to cover their skin flaws.

In addition to facial treatments and Vibradermabrasion which require no down time, we offer different types and strengths of chemical peels to treat the skin. Our aestheticians offer light chemical peels, often referred to as "refresher peels" to exfoliate and generate a healthy skin tone and glow. The more aggressive chemical peels most often treat problems such as fine line wrinkles, melasma (e.g. "pregnancy mask," hyper/hypopigmentation), sun damage, age spots and acne scars. These peels usually have at least several days of down time, but produce more dramatic results that a light peel. If you are considering any type of deep peel, Dr. Mills and our aestheticians recommend that you do these in the wintertime, to reduce potential hyperpigmentation from sun exposure.

What is the difference or advantage of going to a Doctor's office for my skin care needs (versus a spa)?

Within a medical environment, we are able to dispense prescription-strength skin care products and use medical-grade equipment to treat your skin care needs, such as dark spots and premature aging. Additionally, we are able to administer chemical peels to achieve more dramatic results in a medical environment.

VIBRADERM - TOTAL BODY REJUVENATION SYSTEM

Vibraderm exfoliates the skin with a gentle vibrating motion, and stimulates new collagen production. Each patient receives their own paddles, making the procedure totally hygienic without worry of cross contamination. Vibraderm is great for photoaging, melasma, age spots, fine lines, large pores and acne. The procedure is more comfortable than Microdermabrasion and does not leave and residue on the skin surface.

After even one treatment you can expect to see improvement in the overall tone and texture of the skin. For the best results we recommend that you have a series of treatments. Individual treatments are $150.00 or you can purchase a package of 6 for $750.00.

MICROPEEL

Removes a thin layer of skin by freeing impacted debris from the pores by method of enzyme or dermaplaning. Followed with a range of lactic to AHA or Glycolic acid. Helps lessen the appearance of fine lines, brown spots and acne scars.

MICROPEEL PLUS

A light chemical exfoliation by use of Salicylic acid. Ideal for acne skin types and helps even out skin discoloration. Limited down time.

GLYCOLIC HAND TREATMENT

A Glycolic Peel is applied to the hands and then exfoliated with an Epicuren Microdermabrasion Cream scrub. Helps to rapidly slough away dead skin cells to rejuvenate and soften. Excellent for brown age spots. Series of treatments is recommended.

RESORCINOL PEEL

A less aggressive treatment than TCA. A classic skin freshening peel with some down time. Great for refining pores and reducing pigmentation. Also good for lightening age spots on hands.

OBAGI BLUE PEEL/TCA PEEL

A more aggressive treatment to improve the appearance of early signs of aging and sun damage. Excellent for smoothing the skins texture from acne scars and pigmentation problems. Can be performed on several areas of the body including hands, arms, neck and chest. Downtime for the procedure is approximately 1 week.

LEVULAN PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY (PDT)

$375 and up/Treatment
Photodynamic treatments are performed with a topical agent activated by a specific wavelength of light. These treatments remove sundamaged pre-cancerous spots. In addition, PDT reduces oil producing sebaceous cells and is an effective treatment for acne.
